We diligently work hard to ensure we only use suppliers that are able to provide us with the best phones and laptops in the best condition and with extensive testing procedures, so it is very unlikely that your device will let you down. However, you will be pleased to know that you are covered for 1 year if it does.

Incognito Privacy Tech (referred to as “Incognito” henceforth) affirms that this Product is exempt from defects or impairments in material, design, or craftsmanship upon the moment of acquisition. Nevertheless, if damage or faults occur in the unit, its functions, or components, even under standard use, Incognito guarantees that during the Product’s warranty duration, Incognito or an accredited Service Centre will attend to issues concerning materials, design, and craftsmanship without any charges by executing repairs. Furthermore, if Incognito, at its complete discretion, deems it necessary, the Product will be substituted, conforming to the stipulations and conditions outlined herein.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The Product may undergo replacement or repair depending on the issue(s) or damage(s) and may encompass various components subject to the outlined warranty periods outlined below:

Twelve (12) months for the mobile device or laptop.

Three (3) months for the subsequent consumable parts and accessories: batteries, chargers and cables.

The warranty period commences from the moment of purchase.

Unless precluded by national legislation, the Warranty Period will not be extended, revived, or acknowledged following a resale, repair, or substitution of Product parts by a third party. However, parts that have been repaired via Incognito privacy tech will be warrantied for the remaining duration of the original Warranty Period or for ninety (90) days from the repair date, whichever is longer.

When making a warranty claim, the device owners must present:

  1. a) The Product
  2. b) An unaltered, legible original Proof of Purchase showing the buyer’s name and address.

This warranty is not transferable and becomes void if the IMEI / serial number label of the unit is tampered with or altered. Repairs throughout the warranty period shall follow a “Carry-In” approach, necessitating the purchaser to transport the Product to the Incognito service centre or designated repair centre for diagnostics. The warranty does not cover the transportation expenses from the end-user’s point of origin or residence to the Incognito service centre.

The warranty is exclusive to matters regarding defects in material, design, and craftsmanship. It does not encompass the following:

User manuals or any third-party software, configurations, content, data, or links downloaded to the Product. Incognito does not assure the compatibility of the software with hardware or software applications offered by a third party.

Ordinary wear and tear of components (including, but not restricted to, casings, main lenses, camera lenses, touchscreens, or protective covers), transit-related damages, defects caused by rough handling (including, but not limited to, damages from sharp objects, bending, compressing, or dropping, etc.), damages or impairments resulting from misusing the Product, including uses inconsistent with the guidelines provided by Incognito (as specified in the Product’s user manual), or other acts beyond the reasonable control of Incognito.

Issues or alleged issues ensuing from utilising the Product with or connecting it to a Product, accessories, software, and/or services not produced, furnished, or sanctioned by the manufacturer or recommended by Incognito, or using it for purposes other than its intended usage.

Problems or alleged problems stemming from unauthorised third-party software alterations, such as other ROM Customisation, or Re-Flash.

The Product that has been unlocked, altered, or mended by an entity other than Incognito or an authorised service centre, if it is restored with unapproved spare parts, or if the Product’s serial number, the mobile accessory date code, or the IMEI number has been removed, altered, defaced, or rendered unreadable in any manner, which will be ascertained at the sole discretion of Incognito.

The Product that has been subjected to dampness, moisture, extreme thermal or environmental conditions, rapid transitions in such conditions, corrosion, oxidation, spills of food or liquid, or exposure to chemical products.

Data on the device

Incognito shall not assume responsibility for the loss of any stored or preserved data in Products that have undergone repairs or replacements. All data should be backed up, if possible, before sending the phone to us for repair.

Incognito log all device serial and IMEI numbers against all orders to ensure we are able to identify that the same device has been returned to us for repair and is in still within the warranty period.
